Surprise x 2

On Sunday Daddy surprised Mommy and Caroline by taking them on a trip to Ocean City, MD. We stayed at a hotel right on the boardwalk. This was the view from our room...

Although it was tempting just to stay in the room and enjoy the view, we decided that we needed to hit up Playland.

On the way to Playland Mommy needed to get some new sunglasses. Of course Caroline found a pair she wanted as well. She felt so cool in her new shades.

After the rides, it was time to hit the beach. Unfortunately the water was freezing. As soon as Caroline's feet got wet, she booked it back up the beach to get as far away from the water as possible :)

Sadly, it was pretty chilly and very windy on the beach

Before we blew away, we managed to find a few seashells

After the beach, we went to the Dough Roller for pancakes and then headed to Rehobeth and then home.

Although we made one more stop on our way home...to the Humane League. Can you believe that it was Daddy's idea to get a kitten?
