Teething Bites!

Caroline cut her first tooth on Easter Sunday, but it is still just a little stub. I don't know if it is that tooth or another tooth coming in, but something is making her super crabby! She has been soooo fussy all day today and just screams in frustration because her little gums hurt her so much. Why can't babies be born with all of their teeth!!??

We will keep you posted on the progress of her pearly whites...or lack there of :)

Simply Fun

Caroline has a bunch of toys with all the bells and whistles and she loves all of them, but this weekend she got a new toy - a stacker - and she loves that too. Which goes to show that babies don't need flashing lights and silly music to have fun. A simple plastic toy kept her entertained all weekend long :)

Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy and Caroline had a little photoshoot this afternoon. I don't know if either of them was all that thrilled with getting their picture taken, but they sucked up and we got some cute pictures.

Is it summer yet?

In order to get out of our cold and rainy day funk, Caroline and Mommy decided that she should try on one of her bathing suits...and of course her big beach hat. Now we just need July to hurry up and get here so she can put her bathing suit to good use!

Then and Now

What a difference 5 1/2 months make! The first 2 pictures were taken on October 10th when Caroline was just a few days old, the last 2 pictures were taken today on Caroline's first *big girl walk*. No more infant seat, she now faces forward in the regular stroller! She gets bigger and bigger every day!

When I See You Smile...Or Not!

Today Mommy tried to get a good picture of her and Caroline. Since Daddy was at work, she had to resort to using the self-timer on the camera. Unfortunately Caroline did not like the camera's self-timer flashing red light. You will notice that in every picture Caroline is staring at the camera (the flashing light) and not smiling. No matter what I did to make her smile, the second the light started flashing, she turned into serious Caroline. What a goober!

Has anyone seen our little girl?

What happened to that little girl who just sat and stared at her toys? We now have a big girl who can sit up and play with her favorite toys - and in some cases attack her toys (those poor birds!) :)

Caroline's First Easter

Caroline had a very busy first Easter and apparently the Easter Bunny did as well because Caroline received FOUR Easter baskets! Thank you to all of the *Easter Bunnies*, you made Caroline's first Easter a special one.

Tonight Caroline got to visit with her Aunt Katie and her Aunt Kacey. She was so excited to see them. She even put her arm around Kacey when they were posing for the one picture - it was so cute!
