6 Month Stats

Caroline had her 6 month pediatrician visit tonight. Everything looks great! She weighed in at 16lbs 9oz (50th percentile) and is 27.5 inches long (just about 95th percentile). The doctor was impressed with how consistent her growth has been, she has been at or about these percentiles at every appointment. He was also really impressed with all the milestones she has hit lately - sitting unsupported, pulling up, getting ready to crawl. He made the comment that he wouldn't be surprised if she was WALKING by 9 months. I laughed, thinking that he was joking. He wasn't. We're not ready for her to be crawling, let alone walking! If Caroline can walk into her 9 month doctor's appointment, I'll be the sobbing mommy following behind her :) She also got her shots tonight - that is never fun. Jason and I couldn't pick her up fast enough after the last shot. She is now fast asleep and will probably sleep a lot for the next day (gotta love shots!). Next appointment is in 3 months.
