Get Used To It :)

With my new camera, I'm even more picture crazy than ever! I'm still really clueless about how to use the camera, but I'm having so much fun taking pictures of our gorgeous little girl....and of course the cats! Caroline said it would be okay if I posted a couple of Prini along with the (gazillion) pictures of her. Here are some of the latest pictures...

Putting My Mother's Day Gift to Good Use

Here are some pictures taken with my new Canon Rebel. I still have sooo much to learn about how to use the camera, but these are some pictures I took while playing around with it yesterday.

Mother's Day

Today was my 1st Mother's Day and it was so special. Last night we hosted our moms for dinner which was a lot of fun. And then this morning Caroline was dedicated. It was a long service, but she was such a good girl! Although, all the attention made for one tired baby - once we came home from church she napped for THREE hours! Once she finally woke up, Jason, Caroline, and I headed to Chocolate World (could there be a more appropriate destination for Mother's Day!!??). It was Caroline's first trip to CW and she had sooo much fun. We had planned to go to the zoo, but the weather didn't really cooperate. Although, I think it all worked out, because it was such a fun day, I wouldn't have changed anything. I have included some pictures from our trip to Chocolate World. These pictures were taken with our OLD camera because my WONDERFUL husband surprised me with a Canon Rebel XTi for Mother's Day!! Yep -- a new camera -- if you thought I took a lot of pictures before, just wait :) I'll post some pics from the new camera asap, but in the meantime enjoy these pictures from today...

Caroline is 7 Months Old!

Can she really be 7 months old already!? Time goes by sooo quickly (I think I say that every month). She is just is such a big girl. She now pulls up and CRAWLS! Life is crazy - but in the best way possible.

Mommy and Caroline

I often look back at pictures of Caroline from the last 7 months and the one thing that stands out - Mommy is nowhere to be found. Bailey (our cat) has made it into more pictures than I have. The only really nice pictures I have of the two of us have been taken by professional photographers. I finally told Jason today that we shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars just to get a picture of me with Caroline. So Jason took a few pictures of me and my girl...they may not be professional quality, but at least when she looks back at pictures from when she was a baby, she will have some of her and her mommy :)
