Disney on Ice

On Saturday Caroline went to see Disney on Ice with Mommy, Daddy, Nana, and Pops. We weren't sure if she would be able to sit still that long, but she did great! She was definitely more antsy during the 2nd half, but overall, she was such a big girl.

She even got her own seat!!
But even big girls need their sippy :)
Her reaction to seeing the characters for the first time - so excited!!
Clapping on Nana's lap (she clapped throughout the whole show - even when other people weren't) :)
"Look Nana, it's Minnie Mouse!"

18 Month Stats

Caroline had her 18 month appt on Tuesday. Our big girl is now 27lbs 6oz (90th percentile) and is 33 1/2 inches long (95th percentile). She is definitely a little bruiser :)

Easter: Part II

Easter Sunday was such a BUSY but fun day. Our morning started with a little egg/basket hunt in our house.

Here is the basket that the Easter Bunny left for our little girl

Asking Mommy to help her open her egg
She found her basket hiding in the wagon
Checking out the goodies
After a nice morning at home, we headed to Nan and Pap K's house for a yummy lunch and a quick egg hunt.
Hard at work looking for eggs
"Found one!"
Nana and Caroline checking out the treats inside the eggs
After the hunt, we headed to Granddad's house for more family time. By this time Caroline was starting to get sleepy, but she still had a great time with her favorite person in the world, Poppop.
Caroline and Poppop love to play with stickers

Our best attempt at a family shot -- a sleepy Caroline wasn't having it.
Luckily Caroline got her second wind, because we had one more stop. It was off to Gigi's house. After a fun egg hunt (Gigi had LOTS of eggs!!), Caroline had fun playing with Gigi's dogs, Zoe and Austin.
Laughing and just being adorable
Playing with Gigi and Zoe
Can you believe she had only napped for 20 minutes all day??!!
Finally starting to wind down
My attempt at a Mother/Daughter picture...I was hoping that she would look at the ball (and camera), but it didn't quite work :)

It was a fun Easter. Can't wait until next year!

Easter: Part I

We had a very busy Easter weekend. On Saturday we celebrated Easter with Daddy's dad's side of the family. Caroline had so much fun playing with her 2nd cousins and hunting for eggs.
Taking a nap on the way to Aunt Renee's house.

Caroline's 1st Easter Egg Hunt

Warning: Picture Overload!
Nana's company has an Easter Egg Hunt for employee's children/grandchildren each year and this year Caroline got to participate!
Meeting the Easter Bunny for the 1st time - she was a little unsure at first
But she wasn't too shy to take a gift from his basket
Who cares about the eggs, Caroline was hunting down the Easter Bunny
She couldn't stop staring at him and followed him everywhere he went
Although she did take a break to look for some candy filled eggs
Daddy was a good helper
Caroline even shared some of her eggs with the other "hunters"
"Look! I found 2 more eggs!"
After the egg hunt was over, she was back to hanging out with her new best friend
But she did take a quick timeout to share jelly beans with Daddy
And to look cool in Daddy's shades
But then it was back to playing with the Easter Bunny (he loved her too!)
More goodies -- this time she got closer
She didn't want to share any of her goodies with Mommy
But she was willing to show them to her friend, Alec ("Check out my bubbles!")

It was a fun afternoon and good practice for the Easter Egg Hunts this weekend :)
