She gets it from her Daddy

Caroline definitely got her Daddy's physical ability. As I mentioned in a previous post, Caroline has been able to get from a sit to a stand w/o any hands a couple times, but she has officially mastered it! We were outside yesterday and she kept going up and down, up and down. She was so proud of herself...and I was so proud of her too! (Sorry the pictures are a little washed out - I didn't care about camera settings, I was just so excited for her!).

Big Girl Car Seat

Caroline is now officially too big for her infant car seat! So today we put in her new big girl car seat. She seemed to really love her new seat (although you can't really tell how much she liked it in the pictures -- she was just very ready to get out of the car by that point). ...number of pictures posted on the blog :) Today Mommy, Daddy, and Caroline headed out the park to take some pictures in honor of Caroline's 9 month birthday. It was an absolute gorgeous day and Caroline was especially photogenic. Here are some of my favorite pictures from today's shoot.

9 Month Stats

Caroline had her 9 month pediatrician appt today. She is now 19lbs 6.5oz (50th percentile) and is 29 inches long (90th percentile). Our pedi said that everything looks good! Our next appt is on October 7th...Caroline will be ONE YEAR OLD!!

Caroline is 9 Months Old!!

Caroline is 9 months old today! She is 75% done with her first year...crazy! She is definitely acting like a big girl these days - crawling super super fast, cruising every where, standing by herself, she even got into a standing position from a sitting position with NO hands (she has done this twice). She is eating a lot of different food these days - pancakes, pasta, watermelon, cheese, bread, bananas, cheerios, puffs (aka P. Diddys), yogurt melts, sweet potatoes, etc. I just wish that she slept as much as she ate. Caroline has decided that she no longer wants to sleep in her crib. It has made for some long, sleepless nights for everyone (cats included). Other than the sleeping issues, she really is doing great. She is just such a happy, sweet baby. We are so lucky.

Her First Step!!

On the last day of her 8th month, Caroline took her very first step! It was actually 2 steps...one with each foot (that counts as 2, right!?). While she is still probably weeks away from actually walking, it was really exciting to see our big girl hit such an exciting milestone.

Dancing Queen

Caroline's new thing is *dancing*. Anytime music comes on, she starts bopping. It is so cute!
